New 8(a), Global Alliant wins $64M CMS Innovation Support Platform contract
G2X TAKE: Global Alliant, an 8(a) small business information technology (IT) consulting and software development company just beat out three other bidders to secure this 5-year contract whereby the contractor will acquire an IT capability for an Innovation Support Platform that will create and maintain IT solutions and services that satisfy the program requirements of INNOVA. The three systems include: eDFT, CDX and HDR. This contract was competed using GSA IT-70.

This is the first funded Prime award we can find for Global Alliant at CMS, and in the Federal sector, period. Global Alliant is understood to have only recently added their 8(a) Certification and GSA IT 70 Schedule.
However, led by former Maryland Deputy Secretary of State and Global Alliant Founder & CEO Rajan Natarajan, as well as Operations and Business Development leader, Scott Forster, this group does lay claim to a number of State Health and Federal clients, to include the HHS Health Resources and Services Administration, the Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the National Labor Relations Board.
